Self-Painting

What I feel about Self-Harm  no, Self-Painting.
I prefer Self-Painting than Self-Harm.
Some people need to realise how important Self-Painting is. It isn't about attention, it isn't.
It's about knowing your strengths. How long you can go on. How much you, as an individual can take in.

when an artist is sad. That's when you get to see majority of their emotions in their paintings or words. You feel the rage, the frustration, the hate, the sadness and the love. All of these emotions, together, form something so beautiful, no one could touch it. This beauty pains others. Such beauty, with so much power is forever.

Everyone is an artist but, Self-Painters know the meaning behind it. It's true others might try to find out their own version of your painting and it's highly possible that they might just make up shit and go around explaining everyone what it really means.

"It's her family." , "It must be his weight issues" , "Maybe the bands and songs they listen to." No. These aren't the right ones, shut up.

We often try to paint beautiful pictures which society doesn't accept. Criss-cross lines, big lines, small lines, circles, thick lines..you name it. There's a lot of material to use, but just one color and one background; blood and skin.

We draw using silver, we color using red. Looking at these colors since a long time, we fall in love with it. Might take years to fall in love or just minutes. Remember to accept. There will come one day when we fall in love with other colors as well but on our own
